This was a question that was brought up recently, so just to let everyone know: when you participate in Mythology, you still retain all the copyrights to your own work. You can show the art wherever you’d like and you can even print up copies of your own comic and sell them if you want. We don’t own your work. By submitting work, you are just giving us permission to print it as part of the anthology.
If you are one of the participants in the anthology and would like to share your work, feel free to use this page and we’ll showcase it here.
First of all, an apology for being lax in replying to email inquiries lately. Eileen has been sick for the past month and is now catching up on everything. Because of this, deadlines are pushed back for the comic to give you all more time to work.
October 15th is the deadline to get in touch with us if you have been approved to contribute and are still planning to submit work.
We need the following information from you:
We’ve decided not to require that we see every page as a rough, because we realize that some of you work best when you do a page at a time rather than laying the entire comic out. However, we would like to hear from you and see some art from time to time. If we haven’t heard or seen anything in 3 weeks, we will probably be emailing you to ask how things are going. We will be setting up a submission page for this Tumblr so that you can show everyone what you’re working on, but you can also just email it if you prefer.
The deadline for all final comic pages will be around January 1st. This means you have a little more than 3 months to do your comic.
